PENN Creative Strategy is a feminist consulting firm working in service of equity and inclusion.  We work in the areas of: (i) strategy & planning; (ii) organizational development; (iii) Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Access (IDEA).  We are an all female, woman owned business working exclusively with nonprofits and foundations, particularly in the arts, on a mission of system change to support radical inclusion.

Researcher/Data Analyst

We are seeking an independent contractor who:

    1. Is an experienced and talented researcher and data analyst with evidence to demonstrate your ability to examine macro and micro level topics
      • Ability to research systemic issues pertaining to root causes of social symptoms
      • Ability to design and analyze surveys to glean quantitative feedback or input
    2. Is interested in using your research and data skills to support our mission of helping transform the social impact of the nonprofit sector in service of equity and inclusion
    3. Is able to use data to tell stories that are accessible to diverse learners
    4. Prefers to use data and information to provoke dialogue and examination rather than to prove a point
    5. Has done (and continues to do) work on understanding unconscious bias, advocating for racial equity and understanding the impacts of white supremacy on societal systems
    6. Wants to be part of a team of strong and diverse women

This can be a remote position.  Special consideration will be given to candidates who have experienced marginalization personally as a result of their identity(ies) and who have interest in the arts.

Pay range: $75-120 per hour, commensurate with experience

Consultant

We are seeking an independent contractor who:

    1. Has at least 3 years experience providing client-facing capacity building services to nonprofits in the areas of:
      • Strategy & planning
      • Organizational development
      • IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access)
    2. Is interested in using your consulting skills to support our mission of helping transform the social impact of the nonprofit sector in service of equity and inclusion
    3. Is interested in innovative methods to make consulting less transactional and more transformative
    4. Has done (and continues to do) work on understanding unconscious bias, advocating for racial equity and understanding the impacts of white supremacy on societal systems
    5. Wants to be part of a team of strong and diverse women

This position needs to have the ability to work on-site at client locations in the New York metropolitan area.  Special consideration will be given to candidate who have experienced marginalization personally as a result of their identity(ies) and who has interest in the arts.

Pay range: $85-$125 per hour, commensurate with experience
